- To see the AS/AA degree requirements, click on this link. On the top of the page choose AA or AS degree Applications and Checklists, click the appropriate Academic Year and the degree information you are seeking. For a AA/AS specific to a certain area, click on the Area of Concentration Link and browse for your area of interest. Those will be the classes you need to take IN ADDITION TO the general AA/AS requirements.
ELECTRICAL TECHNOLOGY

Electrical Technology teaches students the skills for the electrical industry in the capacity of beginning electrician. Students will compare, contrast and apply basic electrical theory and other major portions of the elecrical field. Training and skills demonstrated by the student in this program are crucial to safe entry into electrical apprenticeships in the electrical field for programs like the IBEW's (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee, WECA (Western Electrical Contractors Association) electrical apprenticeship, and the ABC program (another indentured electrical apprenticeship program). A Certificate is offered in this program. To learn more call the Division office or refer to the catalog and / or the current schedule of classes. |
